New In: Christmas Part I.

Lo primero de todo, FELIZ NAVIDAD. Espero que estéis pasando unas buenas fiestas y que estéis aprovechando los días un poco mejor que yo, ya que tengo muchas cosas por hacer, y pocas ganas.

Hoy voy a mostraros mis nuevas adquisiciones. Algunas me las han regalado, y otras las he comprado porque las necesitaba. Va a ser un post bastante gráfico, ya que no tengo mucho que decir sobre los productos. Espero que os guste y gracias por leer.

Today, I'm going to show my new bargains. Some of them are Christmas presents and some others had been bought by me because I needed them. It's going to be a very graphic post, because I haven't got lots of things to say about the products. I hope you'll like it and thanks for reading.

En esta primera parte del post os enseñaré las cosas de Deliplus, básicamente, ya que (como sabréis si sois de España) Mercadona tiene productos MUY baratos, y de vez en cuando pueden salvarte de un apuro. Yo lo que más uso de cosmética de Deliplus son los pintauñas, alguna que otra sombra, y brochas, ya que me gustaría poder comprar brochas de MAC y de mejor calidad, pero mi economía, actualmente no da para gastarme sobre los 60 euros en brochas de maquillaje.

In the first part of the post, I'll show you basically all the Deliplus things. As the Spanish girls who read me should know, Mercadona has very low-cost products and they can save your beacon more than once. The main Deliplus cosmetic products I use are nail polishes, eyeshadows and brushes. I would really like to buy MAC's brushes, but right now, I can't afford to spend over 60 euros in makeup brushes.

Como podéis comprobar, necesitaba alguna que otra brocha. Todas ellas son de Deliplus (Mercadona) y me costaron al rededor de los 6 euros cada una, así que no espero que me den muy buen resultado, pero como las necesitaba, y eran las más baratas que encontré, las compré simplemente. Esta es una brocha de pony para sombra de ojos: fija la sombra tanto si es en polvo como si es en crema.

As you can see, I was in need of brushes. All of them are by Deliplus (Mercadona) and were over 6 euros each, so I don't expect them to be very good or something, but I just needed them, and they were the cheapest ones I found. This one is a pony eyeshadow brush: it fixes the eyeshadow whether if it's powder or cream.

Pincel para base. Se puede usar con todos los tipos de base, ya sea en polvos o crema.

Foundation Brush. It is used for all kind of foundations: creamy or powdered.

Pincel para labial. Se usa para obtener unos labios más voluminosos y para que el labial dure más tiempo.

 Lip Brush to obtain a more volumonious lips and a long lasting effect.

Este es un pincel delineador con el que se puede pintar la raya mucho más definida con sombra o eyeliner en gel.

 Liner Brush. With it you can draw your eyeline more defined with eyeshadow or gel eyeliner.

Este es el conocido pincel mofeta, que permite aplicar tanto base como colorete. Está pensado sobre todo para las personas con la piel sensible.

Skunk Brush. It allows you to put on your face the foundation or blush. It is made chiefly for sensitive skins.

Prebase para sombras de ojos de Deliplus. Solo me costó 5 euros y para tan buen precio, da muy buen resultado.

Deliplus Eyeshadow Primer. It was only 5 euros and does its job well for the affordable price. 

Maquillaje compacto en mousse de Deliplus en el tono 03. Tiene factor de protección solar 25 y contiene 4g. Costaba 7 euros y venía en un pack con el pincel mofeta.

 Deliplus Compact Mousse  Makeup in the 03 tone. It has a 25 solar protection factor and it contains 4g. of product. It was like 7 euros and was in a pack with the Skunk brush.

Mini paleta de sombras La Nuit de Deliplus en una edición especial de Navidad. Los colores tiene brillo y son perfectos para un look de maquillaje de noche. Tiene tres tonos: dos en gris, uno más claro, y otro más oscuro y uno en rosa clarito. He usado las sombras como tres veces desde que las compré para salir por la noche y me gusta bastante el efecto. Además, se pueden usar fácilmente para hacer un smokey eye look brillante.

 Mini Eyeshadow Palette, La Nuit by Deliplus in a Christmas Special Edition. The colors have glow and are sparkling and they're perfect for a night makeup look. It has three shades: two in grey (one darker than the other) and another one in slightly pink. I've used it three times to go out at night and they looked pretty cool in me. Moreover, you can use them easily to do a shiny smokey eye look.

Estos tres productos (los dos pintauñas y la lima) eran parte de un pack. Me costó 4 euros todo junto y la verdad es que me encantó el tono radiante del pintauñas rojo. Hay que aplicarlo un par de veces para que de un efecto más bonito. El otro pintauñas es de brillo y tiene purpurina de color plateado.

All these three products (two nail polishes and the sining nail file) were part of a pack. They were 4 euros all together and I just fell in love with the bright red shade of the nail lacquer. You have to apply it two times to have a great effect. The other one is shiny and it has silver colour glitter.

Hasta aquí los productos de Deliplus que he comprado esta Navidad. Pronto subiré las demás cosas que he comprado y me han regalado estas Navidades. En mi casa todavía faltan por venir los Reyes Magos, y a ellos les he pedido la paleta Naked 2 de Urban Decay. Me costó decidirme entre la Naked y la Naked 2, pero al final, escogí la Naked 2 porque es mucho más portable y limpia, aunque echaré de menos algunos de los tonos de la Naked 1.

Up to here the Deliplus products I bought this Christmas. I upload the rest of the stuff  I bought or I've been gifted with soon. In my home, we're looking forward the Three Wise Men to come, and I added on my list the Naked 2 palette by Urban Decay. It was hard to me to decide between the Naked Palette and the Naked 2, but at the end I chose the Naked 2 because I tought it will be more portable and clean, even if I miss some eyeshadow tones from the Naked Palette.

November's Purchases

¡Hola a todos! Siento haber tardado tanto en volver a subir algo aquí, pero este mes, entre unas cosas y otras, no he tenido mucho tiempo. He tenido que ir a rehabilitación para el cuello y entre eso y trabajos de la universidad, se me ha amontonado todo. Espero sacar algo de tiempo este mes, ya que están próximas las Navidades, pero tampoco prometo nada, ya que en Enero empezaré los exámenes.

Hi all! I'm sorry I haven't posted for a long time, but the thing is that I hadn't a lot of time in November. I went to rehabilitation for my cervical problem, and I had some amassed university work to do, so I have been very busy lately. I hope I'll have some more time this month due to the Christmas time is closer and closer, but I can't promise to upload so many thinhs, because I have my semester exams in January.

Ahora os voy a enseñar algunas de las cosas que he comprado en Noviembre. No han sido muchas, ya que estoy esperándome a Navidad y Rebajas, y además, estoy intentando ahorrar un poco.

Now, I'm going to show you my most remarkable November's Purchases. They aren't very numerous, because I'm waiting for Christmas and January sales and I'm actually trying to save a little money.

En primer lugar, un bolso de ZARA, color marrón, y que me viene muy bien para ir a la universidad, porque es realmente grande y puedo meter en él todo lo que quiera. Está genial para ir de compras, ya que no hace falta llevar bolso y además todas las bolsas, porque puedes ir metiendo todo en el bolso sin necesidad de ir cargadísima. Además, tiene un asa larga para poder colgarlo del hombro. Es de poliuretano por fuera, y da el efecto de piel, y por dentro, va forrado de tela de saco y tiene dos bolsillos. Me gustó mucho porque por el precio que costaba (39.95 €) lo vi muy mono, y me dio buena impresión. Los detalles están bien cosidos, y los remaches no dan la impresión de maluchos, como muchos otros bolsos. Aquí os dejo algunas fotos.

First, I'm going to show you my new Shopper bag from ZARA, in brown. It's perfect to carry all my university stuff because it's huge and I can fit on it everything I want. It's made for going shopping: you don't have to carry your bag and all those purchases in your hands, because you can carry everything on it without going  very laden. Even more, it has a long handle to hang it from your shoulder. It's made from polyurethane outwards and it seems like its made of leather. Inwards it's lined by sackcloth and it has two pockets. I liked it a lot because it was very cute for its price: it was 39.95 €. The details are well sewed and the rivets look strong. Here I leave you some photos.

En segundo lugar, me he comprado unas botas KicKers. Las utilizo desde que soy pequeña y ya llevaba al menos cinco o seis años sin comprarme unas. La verdad es que son las botas de toda la vida, y he aprovechado para reestrenarlas esta temporada. Me ha ocurrido algo curioso a la hora de comprarlas: en un principio las vi en Privalia por muy buen precio (alrededor de los 55 euros) a falta de dos horas de que se acabase la oferta. El caso es que en ése momento mi madre no estaba en casa y no las pude comprar. Al día siguiente, mis padres fueron a una exposición-outlet que hicieron en la Ciudad Fallera de Valencia: Fallera Pop Up, y allí, justamente, tenían las KicKers por el increíble precio de 45 euros y me las compraron. Así que me ahorré 10 € de Privalia, y una verdadera fortuna del precio real, ya que cuestan sobre los 110 €.

Secondly, I have bought a pair of KicKers boots. I've been using them since I'm a kid, and I haven't bought a pair for five or six yeats. The truth is that they are a useful and classic boots and I've take the opportunity to release them again. Something curious happened to me when I was going to buy them: At the beggining, I saw them in Privalia for 55 euros and I only had two hours to buy them and my mother was not at home, so I couldn't purchase them with the offer. The next day, my parents went to an outlet-exposition that was set in Ciudad Fallera of Valencia: Fallera Pop Up, and there, there was a KicKers stand and they were 45 euros, so they bought me a pair. At the end, I have saved 10 € from Privalia and a fortune from the real price, because they are over 110 €.

En tercer lugar, he comprado un sueter de Sfera, ya que estoy falta de sueters abrigados y necesitaba un barato para ponerme a diario y que me durase lo que dure el invierno. Por la parte de atrás va abotonado y el color burdeos de las rayas me gusta mucho. Me ha costado 19.90 €. Además, supongo que antes de Navidades voy a volver a Sfera y me compraré al menos un sueter más, ya que tenían un montón, muy bonitos, y muy bien de precio (podías encontrar desde 16  a 23 euros).

Thirdly, I bouth a sweater in Sfera. I was in need of warm sweaters and I was looking for something cheap and useful, so I don't really mind if it lasts longer or not. It's buttoned on the back and I really like the burgundy color of the stripes. It cost 19.90 €. I suppose that I'll come back to Sfera to buy at leats one more sweater before Christmas, because they were very nice and cheap: they were from 16 to 23 euros.

Y por último, una base de maquillaje de MAC: Pro Longwear SPF10 Foundation NW25.  Realmente todavía no puedo decir mucho de este producto ya que sólo llevo utilizándolo una semana. De momento, me deja la piel bastante tersa y no noto que sea demasiado grado o aceitoso. Es bastante cubriente, y duradero, y me está gustando bastante. La verdad es que a mi me cuesta bastante encontrar bases de maquillaje acorde con mi piel y depende de la marca me suelen salir granitos y se me estropea un montón la cara (y eso que sigo todos los días una rutina de limpieza facial), por lo que tengo que ir con mucho cuidado al comprar un maquillaje nuevo. Me costó 30 € y de momento, me va bien, además de que el tono que elegí es muy bonito y queda muy natural.

And last, a makeup foundation by MAC: Pro Longwear SPF10 Foundation NW25. I can't really do a review of this product because I've been using it just for a week. By the moment, I feel my skin smooth and I don't think it's too oily for my face. It has a good coverance and it lasts hours and hours, so I'm feeling good about it. The truth is that I hardly find a makeup foundation according to my skin, and depending on the brand, I usually got spots and my face gets damaged soon even following a facial cleansing  routine, so I have to be very careful when buying new foundations. It costs 30 € and it's doing its work well, and I really like the natural shade of the tone I chose.

Today's Outfit & Guerlain Nahema Rouge Automatique

Hoy voy a mostraros mi outfit del día. Este fin de semana ha sido algo raro, realmente. Desde el miércoles por la noche he estado con problemas en el cuello y ayer por fin empecé a encontrarme mejor. El viernes salí de cena con mis amigos de Boston, ayer tuve una comida familiar y fui al cine a ver Lo Imposible, de J.A. Bayona, y hoy no he hecho mucho más que dar un paseo por la mañana, sacar toda la ropa de invierno y guardar la de verano, y cancelar unos planes que tenía por la tarde. Aquí os dejo unas fotos de mi outfit de hoy, de la cena, y la reseña de un pintalabios que he estado utilizando mucho en este último mes: Rouge Automatique de Guerlain en el tono Nahema (143).

Today, I'm going to show you what I'm wearing. Actually, the weekend has been slightly weird. My neck hurts since last Wednesday night and yesterday I sarted to feel better. I went out for dinner on friday with my Boston friends., yesterday I had lunch with my family and I went to the cinema to watch The Impossible, by J.A.Bayona, and today I went for a walk on the morning, then I turned my wardrobe's clothes from summer to winter, and finally, at the evening I called off some plans. So, here I leave you some pictures of my outfit and the Friday's dinner out and a review of a lipstick I'm wearing a lot lately: Guerlain's Rouge Automatique on Nahema 143 tone.

Como podéis ver, llevo ropa muy cómoda y ya casi de invierno. En la foto salgo con mi perrito Yorkshire Terrier, Napoleón, al que quiero muchísimo.

Here are the patent leather loafers. I bought them last March and I love to wear them for everything.

Here it is the burgundy velvet lace from Converse I'm wearing as a belt. I have seen a lot of people wearing laces as belts and I thought it was pretty cool, so I've managed to patch it up.

Aquí os dejo la reseña de el que últimamente es mi pintalabios favorito. He estado utilizándolo mucho en los últimos dos meses y la verdad es que me encanta. Es de la línea Rouge Automatique de Guerlain, que son los que no llevan tapa, la llaman la "barra de labios inteligente, que se cierra y se abre con una sola mano". El tubo es dorado, y yo utilizo un tono coral con brillo, el Nahema 143 que puesto da la impresión de brillo natural y queda realmente bien. El color es bastante fijo y tiene una textura increíble. Incluso a mi, que no me suelen gustar los tonos muy fuertes para los labios, quitado del típico rojo chanel, me encanta llevarlo. El precio en España es de 34.90 € y se puede comprar en El Corte Inglés, la verdad que es un poco caro para un pintalabios, y más si le das tanto uso como yo, pero bueno, una vez al año...

Here you've got the review of my favourite lipstick lately. I've been wearing it a lot in September and October and I really like it. It belongs to the Rouge Automatique line by Guerlain. It hasn't got a top or cover, and it's the so-called "intelligent lipstick that allows you to open and close it with just one hand". The package is a golden tube. I use a shimmer coral shade, the Nahema 143 tone, and it looks really pretty to wear with its natural shine. It has a perfect pigmentation and a unbelievable texture. Even tough I don't really like to wear vibrant shades of lipstick, I love to wear it. The Spanish price is 34.90 € and you can find it at El Corte Inglés. I know, it's a bit expensive, but you can please yourself once a year..

And that's how the lipstick shade looks when I'm wearing it.

My Essential Products.

Hoy voy a mostraros mis cinco productos imprescindibles. Lógicamente, utilizo muchos más productos en mi día a día, pero he hecho una selección de aquellos que no cambiaría, y volvería a comprar una y otra vez.

Today, I'm going to show you my five essential products. Of course, I use many more in my everyday, but I did a selection of those ones that I wouldn't change or those which I would buy over and over again.

El primero es mi perfume. Utilizo Omina Coral de Bvlgari. Lo probé antes de verano y la verdad es que me gustó mucho. Además, llevaba mucho tiempo utilizando MaDame, de Jean Paul Gautiere, y ya necesitaba cambiar de olor. Me gusta porque tiene un olor dulce, pero sin pasarse, y se me hace agradable y poco pesado de llevar, ya que no me gustan demasiado los perfumes fuertes. Es un perfume inspirado en el coral rojo, y se está basado en el olor de la Bergamota, las bayas de Goji, los pétalos de Hibisco, el lirio acuático, la granada, la madera de cedro y el almizcle.

The first one is my perfume. I usually wear Omnia Coral by Bvlgari. I tried it before the summer and I liked its smell. In addition, I had been wearing Jean Paul Gautiere's MaDame for a long time and I needed to change. I love the scent, because it's sweet but not too sweet, and for me it's really nice to wear, because I don't like strong perfumes. It's inspired by the red coral and it's based in different odors like: bergamot, Goji berries, hibiscus petals, wather hyacinth, grenade, cedarwood and musk.

El frasco de perfume que me regalaron es el de 65 ml, y está sobre los 70€ más o menos.

The perfume bottel contains 65 ml and it costs about 70€ more or less.

Mi segundo producto imprescindible es una crema facial: Aknorm de Plante System, la utilizo como crema hidratante y matificante y me la aplico tanto por las mañanas como por las noches. Es especial para pieles grasas. Mi piel no es del todo grasa, sino más bien mixta, pero la verdad es que esta crema va muy bien incluso para los granitos y espinillas, y deja la piel realmente suave. Además es hipoalergénica y no contiene parabenos ni fenoxietanol. La gasto desde hace más o menos un año y de todas las que he probado, es sin duda mi preferida. Se puede comprar en la sección de parafarmacia de El Corte Inglés y el precio está al rededor de los 10€.

My second essential is the Aknorm by Plante System facial cream. I use it as a moisturizing and control shining cream and I put it on my face every day and night. It's specially for oily skins although my skin is not very oily or dry. The truth is that the cream is very nice, because you can use it even in little spots and pimples and makes your face as soft as it could be. Moreover, it's hypoallergenic and it does not contains parabens nor phenoxyetanol. I use the cream for one year more or less, and it's my favourite above all. You can get it at the El Corte Inglés Pharmacy section and it costs around 10€.

Otro producto imprescindible, aunque esta vez para el cabello, es el reparador de puntas de Schwarzkopf. Es un tratamiento en crema de la gama Bonacure Repair Rescue. Realmente, no creía mucho en su funcionamiento cuando lo compré, ya que todos los productos que he utilizado para las puntas han acabado por no hacer nada, pero confié en Schwarzkopf porque es una marca muy prestigiosa de peluquería y leí algunas reviews que hablaban muy bien de él. Lo compré en una tienda de productos de peluquería al pormayor, y aunque pueda parecer un poco caro para la cantidad que lleva (16€), realmente lo vale. Es impresionante la mejoría de mis puntas desde que lo uso. Me lo aplico con el pelo seco, recogiéndomelo en una coleta y poniéndolo por todas las puntas, un día sí, un día no. Funciona de maravilla, y le da un peso a mi pelo que no había conseguido nunca antes, ya que al utilizar mucho la plancha, las puntas siempre las he tenido muy castigadas, y ahora da el aspecto de una melena completamente sana.

Another essential for the hair is the damaged and sealed ends treatment by Schwarzkopf. The cream belongs to the Bonacure Repair Rescue line. At first, I didn't believe that it was going to work when I bought it, because I have used a lot of products for the sealed ends and they weren't working at all, but I trusted on Schwarzkopf because it's a prestigious brand for hairdressers and I read a lot of reviews talking very good about it. I bought it in a hairdresser's products specialized shop, and maybe it seems a little expensive (It's 16€), but it really deserves its price. I've notice a great improvement since I started using it. I apply it with my hair dry and wearing a ponytail, putting it on the ends every other day. It works perfectly, and it gives a weight to my hair which I never had, because I use the hair straightener a lot and my ends have always been very damaged. Now I have a completely healthy and beautiful hair.

El cuarto producto indispensable para mi son los polvos compactos de maquillaje de la línea Mat Lumière de Chanel. Son los Luminous Matte Powder Makeup en el tono SPF 10. Llevo gastándolos un par de años, y las navidades pasadas me regalaron la polvera donde voy poniendo y quitando los recambios que compro, pero la he roto hoy, al cogerla para poneros aquí la información, así que supongo que tendré que añadirla a mi lista de estas navidades. Los polvos están en mis esenciales porque de todos los maquillajes que he utilizado, estos son, sin duda, los mejores. Dan un tono muy natural, son bastante fijos, quitan los brillos y hacen la piel uniforme y sedosa. Definitivamente, este es uno de los productos que nunca me canso de utilizar.

The fourth essential product for my is the Chanel Mat Lumière line compact powder. I use the Luminous Matte Powder Makeup in the SPF 10 tone. I've been buying them for a couple of years and last christmas I got the powder box as a gift, but today I broke it while I was preparing the post, so I think I'll have to add it to my christmas list this year again. This is one of my essential products because the Chanel powder makeup is natural, fixed and anti shine and it makes the skin look uniform and silky. Definitely, this is one of the products that I don't get bored of.

Y por último, aunque no por ello menos importante, el lápiz de ojos de mi vida. Yves Saint Laurent Dessin du regard - Eye pencil waterproof en el tono 1, que es negro. Me encantan los eyeliner y siempre voy buscando uno con buena pigmentación, y no muy duro, pero tampoco muy blando. Para mi, éste es ideal, quizás no sea el indicado para hacer rayas muy finas, pero para mí, es genial. Lo utilizo como parte de mi maquillaje básico para el día a día y ya me lo he comprado dos o tres veces. A veces voy intercalando éste de YSL y uno de Lancôme, porque el de Lancôme, dura más y también es un buen lápiz, está en varios colores y cuesta al rededor de los 23€, mientras que el de Lancôme cuesta 32€ y da para bastante más.

And the last, but not the least, my life's eyeliner. It's the Yves Saint Laurent Dessin du Regard - Eye Pencil waterproof in the tone 1, the black one. I love eyeliners and eye pencils and I always look for those which have a good pigmentation and not very hash but not very smooth. For me, this is the best one, and maybe it's not the suitable for thin eyelines, but It's just perfect for me. I wear it as a part of my everyday basic makeup, and I've bought it two or three times. Sometimes I use a Lancôme eyepencil between the YSL one, because the Lancôme one lasts longer and it's a good pencil too. The YSL Eye Pencil is in six or seven colors and it costs about 23€, and the Lancôme pencil costs 32€ and is bigger.

Lomography Experience

Además de la ropa y los complementos, una de mis mayores pasiones es la fotografía. Para mi 18 cumpleaños, que fue en Septiembre, mi novio me regaló una cámara lomográfica: la Diana F+ Colette, la cámara de mis sueños desde hace un par de años, y que no había tenido ocasión de comprar aún.

Hace dos semanas la estrené en la playa para manejarme un poco con los carretes, ya que nunca en mi vida he utilizado una cámara analógica más allá del típico disparo cuando era pequeña con la cámara de mis padres, y aquí está el resultado. Después de que el fin de semana pasado lo pasase recluida digitalizando negativos, ahora ya puedo decir que ya he hecho mis primeras fotos lomográficas.

Quizás los colores resulten extraños, pero salieron así porque el carrete era un Kodak caducado... ¡desde 2006!

One of my main interests aside from clothing and complements is photography. As a gift from my 18th birthday, my boyfriend gave me a lomo camera: a Diana F+ Colette, the camera of my dreams since a couple of years and I hadn't had the chance to buy it.

Two weeks ago I used it for the first time at the beach, because I wanted to start to manage myself with the films, which I had never used before, and here's the result. After the entire last weekend digitalizing all the negatives, now I just can tell the whole world that I'm at Lomo-style of photography.

¡Hola a todos y bienvenidos al Cajón de Pandora!

Después de varios meses dándole vueltas a la idea de crear un blog donde escribir sobre las cosas que más me gustan, me he decidido a hacerlo. Me gustaría compartir aquí mi visión de la moda y otras cosas que me interesan, además de mostrar una parte de mí misma. Trataré de escribir tanto como pueda, mostrando fotografías, looks y DIYs sencillos para hacer, así que espero que disfrutéis acompañándome en ésta aventura de "fashion blogger".

Soy Marta, vivo en Valencia, una ciudad en la costa de España. Tengo 18 años y estudio Traducción y mediación interlingüística en la Universidad. En un futuro me gustaría ser escritora o quizás trabajar en una editorial, ya que me encantan los libros.

Hi everybody and welcome to Pandora's Drawer!

After some months thinking about the idea of create a blog where I would write about things I like the most, I finally have decide myself to do it. Here, I would like to share my point of view on fashion and some other things that interest me and show a different side of me. Make sure that I will try to write as much as I will be able, posting photos, looks and easy DIYs to do, so I hope you all enjoy joining me into this "fashion blogger" adventure.

I'm Marta, I live in Valencia, which is a coastal city of Spain. I'm 18 years old and I'm studying Translation and Interlingual Mediation at the University. In the future I would like to be a writer or maybe work as an editor in a publisher house, because I love books.

I'm sorry if my English is not as correct as it should be, but I'm trying it :) Maybe the blog brings me the right tools to improve it!
